履历:理查德﹒L﹒埃贝尔(Richard L. Abel),埃贝尔教授先后于哈佛大学、哥伦比亚大学、伦敦大学亚非学院、威斯敏斯特大学获得文学士、法学学士、哲学博士、荣誉法学博士学位。曾任教于耶鲁大学,现为加州大学洛杉矶分校法学院Michael J. Connell法学荣誉教授。

学术(社会)兼职:

《非洲法研究》(African Law Studies)编辑;
