履历：劳伦斯.M.弗里德曼（Lawrence M. Friedman），劳伦斯.M.弗里德曼教授毕业于美国芝加哥大学法学院，1951年获法律博士学位，毕业后先后任职于威斯康星大学法学院和圣路易斯大学法学院，1968年起就职于斯坦福大学法学院，并历任美国法与社会学会、法史学会的主席。现为美国斯坦福大学法学院Marion Rice Kirkwood教授、美国艺术与科学院院士(American Academy of Arts and Sciences)、上海交通大学凯原法学院法社会学中心名誉主任等职。
