Peng Chengxin was admitted to the Jilin University School of Law in 1990 and obtained a bachelor of law (1994), a master of civil law (1998, under the guidance of Professor Cui Jianyuan), and a doctor of jurisprudence (2002, under the instruction of Professor Zhang Wenxian), from October 2003 to 2004 and October 10. He was engaged in postdoctoral research (under the supervision of Professor JW Harris) in the Faculty of Law, University of Oxford, UK. He used to be a research scholar at the University of London School of Economics (LSE) (2000, 9-2001, 9 under Professor JE Penner), Harvard Law School (2014, 8-2015, 09, and co-professor Professor Henry Smith). University of California, Berkeley (UCB) (2018, 1-2) as a senior visiting scholar, teaching at the Graduate School of Law, Hokkaido University, Japan (2003, 8-2004, 3), and the Taiwan Academy of Law (2010, 11) —2011, 2) Visiting professor.
He has been teaching at the Law School of Jilin University since July 1994, lecturer in December 1998, associate professor in September 2001, and professor in December 2004. Since September 2005, he has been a tutor of doctoral students in civil and commercial law. From 2007 to 2010, he was a Distinguished Professor of the "Jiangjiang Scholar Program" of Ningbo University. Since 2010, he has been a professor and doctoral tutor of Kaiyuan Law School of Shanghai Jiaotong University, and a leader in civil and commercial law.
