Dieter Grimm
Renowned German Constitutional Scholar, Former Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany
迪特•格林（Dieter Grimm），1937年出生，德国著名宪法学家，柏林洪堡大学教授。研究领域包括宪法学、比较宪法学、宪法史、民族国家立宪主义等。1987-1999年，担任德国联邦宪法法院法官，曾参与“森林骑马案”、“十字架案”等重要案件的判决。2001-2007年，担任柏林高等研究院院长;被意大利罗马一大（2000年）、美国耶鲁大学法学院（2001年）、哈佛大学法学院（2008年）、加拿大多伦多大学法学院（2004年）聘为客座教授。
Dieter Grimm, born in 1937, is a renowned German constitutional scholar and professor of Humboldt University Berlin. His research fields include constitutional law, comparative constitutional law, constitutional history, nation-state constitutionalism, etc. From 1987 to 1999, he served as Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany. He was involved in the judgment of important cases such as " Riding in the Woods Case (Reiten im Walde) " and " Crucifix Case (Kruzifix) " . From 2001 to 2007, he served as Director of the Institute for Advanced Study Berlin; he was a visiting professor in Sapienza University of Rome, Italy ( 2000 ), Yale Law School ( 2001 ), Harvard Law School ( 2008 ), Faculty of Law, University of Toronto ( 2004 ).
