Jeffrey S. Lehman serves as the founding dean of the Peking University School of Transnational Law, the first school in the People's Republic of China to provide an American-style legal education leading to a J.D. Degree. He is also currently a tenured professor of law at the Cornell Law School, a member of the board of Infosys Ltd. and chair of its subsidiary Infosys Public Services, a trustee and past board chair of  Internet2, and a senior scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Centerfor Scholars. During Professor Lehman's career,he has served as a Supreme Court law clerk, a practicing tax lawyer, a professor of law and public policy, the dean of the University of Michigan Law School, the president of the American Law Deans Association, and the president of Cornell University.
