The 23rd Lecture of ‘Interdisciplinary Salon of Law’ of the China Institute for Socio-Legal Studies successfully held
On the afternoon of 22 May, the 23rd Lecture of ‘Interdisciplinary Salon of Law’ hosted by the China Institute for Socio-Legal Studies of Shanghai Jiaotong University was successfully held in Conference Room 206, North 4th Building, Xuhui Campus. The theme of the Salon was ‘The Law and Economics of Lawyers: Evidence from the Revolving Door in China’s Judicial System’, and Liu Zhuang, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Law of the University of Hong Kong, was the keynote speaker. Professor Li Xueyao, Professor of KoGuan College of Law, SJTU, moderated the salon, and Professor Ji Weidong, Senior Professor of Liberal Arts of SJTU and Director of the Institute of Chinese Law and Society, delivered an opening speech. Cheng Jinhua, Vice President of SJTU's Institute of Chinese Law and Society, Vice Dean of Graduate School and Distinguished Professor, Tang Yingmao, Professor of Fudan University School of Law, Bin Kai, Associate Professor of SJTU's KoGuan School of Law, Qiu Yaokun, Associate Professor of SJTU's KoGuan School of Law and the China Institute for Socio-Legal Studies, and Tan Jun, Assistant Researcher of SJTU's KoGuan School of Law and the China Institute for Socio-Legal Studies, took part in the discussion and comments with the talk. Dozens of teachers and students from various universities in Shanghai attended the salon.
