Dai, Xin

Mr. Dai currently works as an associate attorney in the Hong Kong office of Shearman & Sterling.  He primarily works on international capital markets transactions and other U.S. securities law matters.  Mr. Dai received his J.D. degree from Duke University School of Law in 2009 and his LL.B. degrees in law and in sociology from Peking University in 2006.

Mr. Dai's research interests and writings have focused on the interdisciplinary studies of law and social sciences, in particular theories of economics, sociology and behavioral psychology. He is also interested in the studies of law, politics and culture in the American society. Currently in connection with his corporate legal practices, Mr. Dai's research interests also comprise certain areas of corporate and securities laws.
